CV Snapshot: Ugeshree lead the development of one of the first Wind Energy projects in SA – The Tsitsikamma Community Wind Farm (95MW). Furthermore, she was instrumental in the formation of the renewable energy spin-off company at Exxaro Resources, called Cennergi and helped develop the energy portfolio. More recently she played a leading role in shifting the socio-economic landscape of South Africa by implementing sustainable and economically robust projects in a collaborative approach. She has developed B-BBEE strategies specializing in Enterprise and Supplier Development (ESD) across the Mining, Renewable Energy, Health, Tourism and Construction Industries. Her recent work includes developing the ESD strategy for the Expanded Power Works Programme, under the Gauteng Premier’s Office “Tshepo 1 Million Jobs” project. She also successfully co-led the development of the Amadeus National Tourism Visitor Information system (NTVIS) a new model for public-private collaboration in the tourism industry, under the DTI’s National Industrial Participation Programme.
She is currently serving her 3rd term as a Board Member of the Spanish Chamber of Commerce with a focus on promoting business relationships between SA and Spain as well as the EU.Adv Ndumiso Mahlangu

CV Snapshot: Advocate Mahlangu is a practising Advocate of the High Court of South Africa having been admitted in 2011 and is currently a non-executive director of the State Information Technology Agency and a member of the Institute of Directors in SA (IoDSA). His key areas of practice being Commercial Law, Public Law, Labour Law, Municipal Law and Construction Law. He started his legal career as Candidate Attorney at Ledwaba Mazwai Attorney (2009-2010) whereafter he was called to the Bar (Johannesburg Association of Advocates). While studying Law at the University of Pretoria, he worked part-time as BEE Analyst at BEE2Business (2005-2008) wherein he assisted corporate clients in structuring
BBBEE transactions.He was a member of Appeals Advisory Committee of Gauteng Department of Health (2015-2017). He is an aspiring business leader having interests in the Property Industry. He is also a member and director in The B4I group of companies and serves as a trustee in Business 4 Empowerment Trust, a non-profit organisation providing funding to homes whose purpose is to empower previously disadvantaged individuals, through skills development, and whose aim is to eradicate abuse, in all its manifestations, aimed at women and children.

Jaco has been involved in setting up and growing various startup companies before co-founding Futureneers, a Corporate Innovation Consultancy and Alternative Assets Fund Management Company. Futureneers together with B4i was instrumental in developing the innovative empowerment, incubation and development processes, workflows and methodologies which forms the basis of our operational model. Jaco is a key part of the operational team, assisting the projects the VCC invests in to develop their ideas, formulate profitable business models, go to market and scale thereafter.

Dirk is a Chartered Accountant and also member of the Institute of Bankers and an expert Fundraiser with a record of securing asset finance deals in excess of R250m in one position. Since then, he has founded, co-founded and successfully exited a number of high-profile companies – from Cipla Nutrition to X/Procure® Software – with a focus on business development. Deon is currently the CEO of Futureneers Properties.
Alwyn Rossouw

As a Deloitte Financial Services Audit Manager, and later on CFO and COO of BoE Bank (Business banking), Alwyn serviced clients in the insurance, asset management, property and banking industry. After the BoE merger with Nedbank, Alwyn joined the Nedbank executive management team. In 2003 Nedbank seconded him to Old Mutual plc. in London for 2 years as General Manager / Executive Assistant to the Group CEO office. On his return to South Africa he founded Marathon Consulting, where he is currently the CEO.
